This is the ancient custom of burying the corpse of an important person along with selected able bodied men (who shield their bodies in masque) as escorts of the dead.

This burial rite is in honor of certain tribal kings and top Traditional Rulers in Nigeria and in some African societies. Where this rite took place is however not disclosed. But I'm suspecting it is in Taraba State. What a culture? God will never forgive these people for wasting innocent lives
